The space provided was one you’d commonly find available in New York: slim, windowless, and ready for a redesign. By creating a large skylight and mimicking the shape of it throughout the floor plates, natural light floods the rest of the floors. Additionally, LED rods act as guards along the stairwell up and down, providing a continuation of illumination throughout the space, even if early birds and late workers are there after dark.
