Born just south of San Francisco, Lauren Baker is an award-winning designer whose work reflects a studied balance of restraint, warmth, and architectural clarity. After beginning her creative career in filmmaking in Los Angeles, she shifted her focus to interiors, recognizing the power of space to shape human experience with the same intentionality as a frame of film.

She went on to attend Parsons School of Design, completing the intensive two-year post-graduate program in just nine months. Her portfolio now spans private residences, retail environments, and notable hospitality destinations, each characterized by thoughtful materiality, precise spatial reconfiguration, and a contemporary sensibility grounded in timeless elegance.

With the founding of en-scène studio, Lauren established a practice defined by its rigorous attention to detail and its ability to create environments that feel both elevated and deeply livable. Her work continues to explore the intersection of architecture, narrative, and atmosphere, resulting in interiors that are sophisticated, inviting, and unforgettable.
